Establishing a Budget Is a Lifesaver
While it’s common to see people living from paycheck to paycheck, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to follow suit. By establishing spending and saving patterns, you can save a lot of money by the end of the year. By identifying which expenses you can live without, you would impress upon your kids the value of setting aside vital money for a more comfortable retirement.
By categorizing your expenses, you would be able to establish whether certain spending patterns can be dropped or not. For example, “entertainment expenses” like eating in expensive restaurants can be dropped immediately. We’re sure that you would be able to save thousands of dollars at the end of the year by removing a few of these “entertainment expenses”.
